Potters Clay Ministries
Please allow me to tell you about this ministry and myself. First, I would like to start with this ministry. The ministry is not mine, but the Lord’s. He will form it and shape it into what He wants it to be. I was reading Jeremiah 18:6, which says “Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand.” Then the Lord spoke to me and said, “the ministry which I am giving you must be completely mine including the name.” Thus the name Potter’s Clay Ministries came about. I firmly believe that this name came from the Lord. You are probably wondering how did he know that it came from the Lord. I was in prayer one day and this name was spoken into my spirit. I firmly believe that it came straight from the Lord God. Because this ministry is the Lord’s and not mine it will be formed how He wants it. I am available for youth services, Sunday morning and evening services, mid-week services, song services, pulpit supply, and camp meeting
services.
Potter’s Clay Ministries believes that each day brings an opportunity to be molded by the Hand of the Great Potter. Each day gives us the opportunity to introduce the Great Potter to someone else. The Great Potter takes each life that is committed to Him and molds it in His likeness. After the forming takes place there is a slight hardening of the clay but the clay must still remain soft. The reason the clay must stay soft is so that it can still be molded into something else. Whether it be bigger or smaller, taller or shorter, fatter or skinner; it is all based on how God wants to use us. If the clay gets too hard then, for it to be reshaped it must first be broken and then softened so that it can be shaped to hold what the Potter wants to pour into it. That person can then hold more because they have been stretched and made anew in faith.
Now, I would like to briefly tell you a few things about myself. I was saved as a young boy, but through the years I walked away from the Lord. At Rhodes Grove camp in Marion, PA, in August 1996, I rededicated my life to the Lord. At that point I heard the call from the Lord to enter the ministry. After graduating from High School in 1997 and not being sure how to handle the call, I went and did things my own way. Knowing that I was called to the ministry I didn’t want to do that, so I attended Penn State University for one year. That year was the most miserable for me. On May 18, 1998, at 2:00 A.M. I finally gave into the call of the Lord. In August 1998, I entered Bible School. Finally on May 17, 2003, I graduated from Antietam Bible College with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies and with honors (Magna Cum Laude). Then on August 23, 2003, I became a licensed minister through the Pentecostal Evangelical Church. As of February 20, 2004, I have been in the ministry for four years. Since I am now graduated and licensed, I am asking you to consider giving Potter’s Clay Ministries the opportunity to minister to your church congregation. I have spoken in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and West Virginia. There have been people come to Christ, healed, delivered and set free in these
services - not because of me and what I did but because of who God is and what He did.
God is so good and awesome to take a piece of clay and mold it into what He wants it to be, and He forms it into His own image. He is so good that, even while we do our own thing, He still loves us. He is always waiting for that prodigal son to come back home. He stands and waits with His arms wide open.
In His Service,
Rev. David Fagley
